General partner of this corporation is Verlagsgruppe NEWS Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H., based in Vienna; limited partners are G+J Holding GmbH (63.75%), based in Vienna; Gruner + Jahr AG & Co KG (11.25%), based in Hamburg; Medienprojekte und Beteiligung Gesellschaft m.b.H. (24.9%), based in Vienna; and Mag. Irene Fellner (0.1%).

Participants in Verlagsgruppe NEWS Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. are G+J Holding GmbH (63.75%), based in Vienna; Gruner + Jahr AG & Co KG (11.25%), based in Hamburg; Medienprojekte und Beteiligung Gesellschaft m.b.H. (24.9%), based in Vienna; and Mag. Irene Fellner (0.1%).  

G+J Holding GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gruner + Jahr AG & Co KG.

In their capacity as limited partners, Bertelsmann SE & Co, KGaA, Gütersloh, participate with 73.4% in Gruner + Jahr AG & Co KG; Constanze-Verlag GmbH, Hamburg, with 24.6%; and Gruner + Jahr AG, Hamburg, with 2%. Gruner + Jahr AG also acts as general partner.

New Media Enterprise GmbH, Vienna, participates with 51% in Medienprojekte und Beteiligung Gesellschaft m.b.H.; Medienbeteiligungen Privatstiftung, Vienna, participates with 49%.

(shares: 16.67% each: Renate Schubries, Dr. Stephan J. Holthoff-Pförtner and Petra Grotkamp; 50% Brost Holding GmbH & Co KG (the latter indirectly wholly owned by Petra Grotkamp); 50.56% of Kurier Zeitungsverlag und Druckerei Gesellschaft m.b.H. are owned by Printmedien Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H., Vienna.

Owners of Printmedien Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. are Kurier Beteiligungs-AG, Vienna (63,08%), and Medicur-Holding Gesellschaft m.b.H., Vienna (36,92%). Medicur-Holding Gesellschaft m.b.H. holds 82.06% of the shares. Participations pursuant to § 25 sub-section 3 Media Act

 

Verlagsgruppe NEWS Gesellschaft m.b.H. participates in the following media services, pursuant to § 25 sub-section 3 Media Act:

1.    Trend Redaktion GmbH, based in Vienna.

Purpose of the enterprise is taking over editorial activities for magazines, in particular Trend magazine.

2.    Gruner + Jahr AG & Co KG, based in Hamburg.

Purpose of the enterprise is the operation of businesses responsible for the printing, publishing and distribution of books, newspapers, magazines and other print products as well as other activities in the field of information and communication, including media not yet in business or not yet known.

- KURIER Zeitungsverlag und Druckerei Gesellschaft m.b.H. (editing and publishing of print products) participates in the following media services, pursuant to § 25 sub-section 3 Media Act:

1. Profil Redaktion GmbH, based in Vienna

Exclusive purpose of the enterprise is the design of editorial contents and the production and submission of reproducible editorial pages (text, images and graphics) and/or parts of pages as well as their technological equivalent, and the drafting and delivery of the imprint (legal notice) (“Redaktionsagendum”) of “profil” magazine to the publishing house publishing this magazine.

2. Kurier Redaktionsgesellschaft m.b.H., based in Vienna; purpose of the enterprise are editorial tasks and services.

3.    Telekurier Online Medien GmbH, based in Vienna; purpose of the enterprise are Internet services.
